Class 4, 5 & 7 MOT Testing in Keighley

Alongside our heavy vehicle ATF, CFM is a DVSA-approved vehicle testing station for Class 4, Class 5 and Class 7 MOTs. That covers everything from cars and light vans through to large minibuses and the heaviest vans.

If your vehicle needs work to pass, our workshop is on the same site — so repairs and a retest can be arranged without moving the vehicle elsewhere.

Class 4 MOT

Cars, light vans and goods vehicles up to 3,000kg, and passenger vehicles with up to 12 passenger seats.

Class 5 MOT

Minibuses and passenger vehicles with more than 12 passenger seats.

Class 7 MOT

Goods vehicles over 3,000kg and up to 3,500kg design gross weight.

Pre-MOT checks

Optional checks before the test to catch common failure items.

Repairs on site

Failure items quoted and repaired in our workshop.

Retests

Most cars and vans up to 3,000kg are Class 4. Vans over 3,000kg and up to 3,500kg design gross weight are Class 7. Passenger vehicles with more than 12 passenger seats are Class 5. If you're not sure, call us with the registration and we'll tell you.

You can have an MOT up to a month (minus a day) before the current certificate expires and keep the same renewal date.

We'll explain the failure items and give you a quote for the repairs. Our workshop is on site, so the work and retest can usually be arranged quickly.
